En Route to Liberia

I'm sitting here at a small cafe in Northern Minnesota with my sister Alicia. She struggles to study for one of her last finals at the U of M, and I'm struggling to find the words to post on my new blog site. For months now, my friend Jamie has encouraged me to start my own blog, and I've been balking at the idea up till now. I guess with my upcoming departure to Liberia, I finally feel like I might have a few thoughts and stories to share with you my friends and family.

This past month since ending my time in Calgary has felt like a whirlwind.
